After reading the description of “The Creative Man” and “The Destructive Man” it’s apparent that I more accurately fit the criteria for the destructive man. I’m not obsessed with aesthetics though. But:
- requires external stimuli to feel alive; emotionally dead without others
- if desires are thwarted, becomes depressed, suicidal, and aggressive
- pathologically reliant upon approval
- expert on manipulation; hypocritical, immoral
- feels a sense of greatness from others loss and ruin
